The battery does not need to be charged before first use, apparently, because it was already 98% charged, but you do have to (easily) open up the back of the phone in order to access the battery so that you can peel off the insulated tape which covers the battery contacts. Requires formatting that prevents it from working with other devices. [Next] " I chose "Use as internal storage" and it works so far, 16GB total. There is a manual/leaflet in Hungarian (Hasznalati utmutato (sorry, I don't have accents)) and a User Guide in English followed by "Safety Information" in multiple languages.
